Dennis Balogh
Dennis graduated from Cooper School of Art in Cleveland, Ohio. As a student he was influenced by Ken Dallison and Bob Peak. Dennis works a lot with the human figure (he shoots his own photographs and reference to help pin down his drawings). He has worked in a variety of techniques but has found an identity with a loose watercolor style. Dennis strives to make his portraits and figures come alive by paying attention to detail while keeping a loose rhythm of line and brush strokes. He feels that the right use of color is the strongest contributing factor to a successful painting.
