Izhar Cohen
Izhar Cohen trained at the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem and at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. After leaving school Izhar began collaborating with L' Express magazine, finding that he responded better to the pressures of newspaper deadlines rather than the more leisurely approach. His ability to switch from traditional pen and ink drawings to the use of a computer enables Izhar to operate in the fast-paced news-driven international market, often receiving text in the morning and sending off a wittily observed illustration as an attachment by afternoon.
